Always Open! Always Free!

General Submissions

Our general submissions are always open and always free! We pay $200 for short stories and creative nonfiction between 1,000 and 6,000 words, $100 for flash fiction and flash creative nonfiction, and $50-100 for craft essays and interviews. Editorial Feedback Platform

CRAFT is proud to offer editorial feedback on creative short prose up to 6,000 words. We review flash fiction, short stories, flash creative nonfiction essays, and longform creative nonfiction essays. We’re happy to help you revise work for submissions, applications, and other opportunities. You can request feedback on general submissions as well as contest submissions year-round.
